Late last night, while in the process of conducting a search for Jesus Mendivil, the F.I.S.T. (Fugitive Investigative Strike Team) found another suspect involved in the February 5, 2009 home invasion in the 3000 blk. of W. Vande Loo Street.  David Gutierrez (DOB 09/09/86), was taken into custody without incident.  He is believed to be the suspect from the left side of the vehicle wearing a shoulder holster.  He is later seen fleeing the scene on foot.  Mr. Gutierrez was booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center on charges of Attempted Armed Robbery, Attempted Aggravated Robbery, and Aggravated Assault.

The Robbery Assault Team is conducting search warrants on numerous vehicles at this time in an attempt to locate evidence and leads to additional suspects.  Anyone with information is asked to contact 911 or 88-CRIME.
