This morning at approximately 4:45 a.m., deputies from the Foothills District responded to the 1000
blk. of West Sea Star Drive in reference to an unknown problem. Upon arrival, deputies made contact
with individuals at the front door of a residence. Before deputies could gain access into the residence,
they heard gunshots coming from within. Deputies entered the residence to find a deceased female
with obvious signs of trauma in an upstairs bedroom. A male suffering from possible gunshot wounds
was also found in the bedroom. The male subject was transported to a local hospital with life
threatening injuries.

 

Pima County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives responded to further investigate. According to witnesses
at the scene, the female and male had been in an upstairs bedroom while a party continued downstairs.
At this time, the investigation continues.
