Dwight Alan Riggs (DOB 08/07/47) has been missing since Monday, January 26, 2009, from the 12700 block of East Chukut Trail.  Friends became concerned because he wasn’t at his residence for a prolonged period of time.  Apparently Mr. Riggs hikes in the neighborhood near his residence.  On Monday, deputies did a check welfare but were unable to locate Mr. Riggs.  On Tuesday, another check welfare gave the same results.  Deputies from Search and Rescue, along with the DPS helicopter and scent K9s, assisted in the search for Mr. Riggs.  He was not located last night and the search resumes today.  Mr. Riggs is said to have medical problems; however, the extent of those issues is not known.  He is described as a Caucasian male, 5’11”, weighing approximately 300 plus lbs.  He has gray hair with blue eyes.
