Homicide - Update

Pima County Sheriff’s Homicide Unit is continuing to investigate a homicide from June 5, 2009, when Mr. Luis Alfonso Flores (DOB 10/23/57), was shot in his front yard in the 2600 blk. of West Quail Road. On July 14, 2009, Mr. Flores died from injuries sustained in the shooting.
Through 88-CRIME tips and the surviving victim, detectives from the Homicide Unit have positively identified one of the suspects seen at the Circle K Store located at 5680 S. Mission Road several hours prior to the shooting. He is identified as Marcos Angel Silvas (DOB 12/28/87). Mr. Silvas is described as a Hispanic male, 5’9” tall, and weighing approximately 165 lbs. He has short black hair and brown eyes.
Mr. Silvas should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Marcos Angel Silvas is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
