The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is releasing the following information pursuant to ARS 13-3825, which authorizes law enforcement agencies to inform the public when the release of information will enhance public safety and protection.

The individuals pictured in this notification have been convicted of a sex offense which allows for community notification. They are not wanted by the sheriff's department at this time. This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is our belief that an informed community is a safer community. Sex offenders have always lived in our communities, but law enforcement was not allowed to share this information with you. After passage of Megan’s law, we are now allowed to share this information with you. Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate or harass registered sex offenders will not be tolerated. Further, such abuse could potentially end law enforcement’s ability to do community notifications.

Registered sex offenders are categorized into three levels: This site will only show level 2 and 3 offenders. All the offenders listed here are either initial sex offender registrants or have relocated, requiring new notifications.

SYNOPSIS:  On June 2001, Clevenger was convicted of Attempted Molestation of a Child in Pima County. The victims were eleven and thirteen year old females.

SYNOPSIS:  On 12/13/2005, Clevenger pled guilty to the charge of Attempted Failure to Register as a Sex Offender in Pima County. He was previously convicted for Sexual Conduct with a Minor.

DOB: 07/19/61 RACE: Caucasian WEIGHT: 250 Lbs. HEIGHT: 6"00” HAIR: Brown EYES: Hazel RESIDENCE: Benson Hwy / Country Club (Homeless) Tucson AZ 85706

 

SYNOPSIS: : In 1982, Mr. Higgins was convicted of Attempted Rape in San Diego County California.  On 10/24/03 he was convicted of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender here in Pima County.

   

DOB: 05/07/59 RACE: Hispanic WEIGHT: 160 lbs HEIGHT: 5’10” HAIR: Black EYES: Brown RESIDENCE: 15920 S. Avn Greene Sahuarita AZ 85629

 

SYNOPSIS:   On 06/05/2007, Lerma was convicted of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender in Maricopa County. On 02/25/1999, Lerma pled guilty to the charge of First Degree Child Molestation in Snohomish County. The victims included an eleven year old male and two twelve year old females known to him.

 

DOB: 04/12/61 RACE: Caucasian WEIGHT: 225 lbs. HEIGHT: 6"01” HAIR: Gray EYES: Green RESIDENCE: 12568 W. Mile Wide Rd Tucson AZ 85743

 

SYNOPSIS:   Mr. Ray pled guilty to Attempted Sexual Assault. The victim was a 16 year old female. On 01/16/2001, Mr. Ray was convicted for Failure to Register.
