With the discovery of Nixle, the Pima County Sheriff's Department's new alert messaging system, SafeLink has quickly become a limited capability technology that no longer meets the needs of the Department or the community.  Nixle offers more versatility in how we can send messages to you and how you can receive them.  Photos and maps can be linked to alerts and community based messages sent via cell phones texts, email or viewed through the internet to provide you, the subscriber, with so much more than SafeLink.  Therefore, on March 30, 2010, Safelink will end its great run with the Pima County Sheriff's Department.  Stay INFORMED, INVOLVED, ALERT with NIXLE!
